Monika Herbig is a graduate of the Meister Schule Fur Mode (Fashion Institute) in Hamburg, Germany.
She works as a fashion designer in Germany and the USA.
Monika has a broad range of experience in the arts and has worked in:

graphic design (studied with Paul Nortberg and David Oshima)
painting (studied with Alex Carillo, Tom Lynch and Robert Kingston)

Monika is involved in the larger community and has been teaching art to youth groups for the past 13 years.
She is currently painting in water soluble oils. The concept of her paintings are:
" Going Places" and have "People in Action"
which she executes with a pallet knife, in a way of primitive, thick, bold, colorful paint.
